Hey @elonmusk how do you like Biden awarding Soros the Presidential Medal of Freedom for how much he's promoted peace in the USA? What a joke. In time, we better see Trump give this award to you, as you have definitely earned it way more than anyone else.
May the holiday and the spirit be as merry and as bright for you as this outfit. MERRY CHRISTMAS!!! instagram.com/p/Cmj3vTwJJzJ/…
During my 2nd trip to China in 1985, I came across this TREE LINED ROAD where the trees stood guard, like sentinels; one bending out of order while two people walk off in the distance. There's a lot to tell in this photo if one allows their imagination loose.
A group of MINER'S LANTERNS hanging outside a gold shaft in Bodie, CA, that was taken in the late 80s. A photo like this can light a viewer's imagination and allow someone to form a story.
In 1975, I was in Santee, CA with my painting class when I came upon this unusual looking house I thought would make a good oil painting subject and this is the end result.
While I was passing through Moss Landing (CA) in 1988, I came across this structure that I call WINDOW & WEEDS. A very simple shot, yet is very powerful in it's simplicity and story telling.
While traveling through the Peruvian countryside in 1992, I came across this woman weaving either sheep's wool or alpaca. She was so absorbed in what she was doing she never noticed I had taken her photo.
This is a photograph I took from a group of wild matilija poppies that grow along the north side of my chicken coop turned hobby room on my property. On this particular day, the light was just right.
The original photo I had taken of 3 DOGWOOD BLOSSOMS, was from my yard and then I manipulated it in Photoshop, coming up with this result. It's always creatively stimulating to go from one medium to another.
During the 80s, I was spending time at our Rock Creek (CA) family cabin at 10,000 feet in the sierras when I came upon this spot that had many elements for a perfect photo subject.
Alabama Hills (CA) in the mid-80s. Photos like these are what earned me the nickname, "The Female Ansel Adams of the San Joaquin Valley." Flattering, but I was never in that kind of league.
In 1972, I created this painting from a photo I took of a Colorado scene when I was passing through that State. I find it creative to go from one hobby to another.
This PERUVIAN PALAZZO ARCHWAY was taken in 1985 and from this angle, it made me feel as though I were walking through a portal into another era.
OLD WOMAN WITH A WRISTWATCH was from my 2nd trip to China in 1985 when I caught site of this single tooth woman with a men's wristwatch.
While in India in the early 90s, I came across this RED BOAT WITH TIRES ON THE GANGES and the color was so rich it even reflected in the water. I received high marks for this during competition.
