Coming up with new characters is immensely rewarding. This little fella's name is Coda. He was co-created by @ChrisPolyarc and I. He's part of an internal demo from a while ago. Figured it would be cool to peek behind the curtain, see that we have more than mice in our blood.

Brilliant example of a character walk and a great reminder to put a piece of ourselves into our work.
When I started in film I was really pushed to take "ME" out of me work. What they wanted to remove was how & where I grew up. The mannerisms of NJ, Philly, Chester were/are engrained in my soul. My short allowed me to be "ME" when animating. Its what you feel in this walk

Watched The Good Dinosaur last night and I'm so surprised how unsatisfying the ending was. #Pixar are the gold standard for storytelling but this hero's journey ended so flatly. I really enjoyed it until that point. Loved Spot's hair, those locks have a life of their own.
