On 11 August 2015, Klara Gӧttert took her own life in Johannesburg, South Africa at the age of 14. The Klara Gӧttert Foundation raises awareness and funding.

Adv Pierre du Toit: Chartered Accountant (Semi-Retired) also accepted the appointment as Non-Executive Director on the Board.
Ms Sizakele "MakaMnqobi": Professional NGO Strategist and Projects Manager (KZN) accepted the appointment as Non-Exec Director on the Board.
Mr Lage Vitus: Former Director of the Federation of Mental Health for 30 years (Retired) accepted the appointment as a Non-Exec Director.
The Non-Executive Board will also approve Strategic Direction. We have invited professionals in the relevant fields serve on this Board.
A small independent Board of Non-Exec Directors will be appointed to provide regular oversight over our projects, campaigns and finances.
