Starting to see signs of internet returning to normal. Our alerting is still delayed but if this keeps up should be back to normal soon.
Monitoring widespread internet outage across the US. Affecting some of our alerting.

Odd database issue causing incoming SMTP tests to be queued at our edge servers. Working on issue now and will hopefully have it cleared up shortly.
Web site experienced some slowdowns due to database issue for the past 30 minutes. Everything should be returning to normal now.
Small database issue caused a handful of errant alerts to be sent around 9am EDT. It has been fixed and we are investigating further.
DNS issues resolved. Alerting has been enabled as we continue to monitor the situation.Will post more details at weblog.knowledgefront.com
Currently experiencing issues with DNS resolution. Affecting SMTP testing. Alerting disabled while work continues.
Power interruption at our primary data center ~11:30pm central caused some testing and alerting to be delayed.
Our web site was slow/unresponsive while we were dealing with a flood of http requests. No other services not affected. Back to normal now.

Reverse DNS issues resolved for outgoing SMTP servers for knowledgefront.com domain
Reverse DNS for the knowledgefront.com failing for some people. XO, our upstream provider, has an IP delegation issue.
We had a small javascript issue with some report pages loading correctly for the last 30 minutes or so. Should be all fixed up now!

Microsoft Forefront Protection for Exchange now blocking Mailive! test messages unless explicitly white listed
Minor issue with our primary db server. Caused HTTP requests to fail for a short time. Everything should be back up and running smoothly!
Scheduled maintenance completed. Alerting was enabled around 9:30 Eastern weblog.knowledgefront.com
