Not sure when I got some repo stars, but my new SwiftUI-like Godot scene and script generator is more powerful, I think, than people realize. It can even generate beautiful UI animations for you, with just a few lines of code. github.com/GodotNuts/GMVU

I'm like Usain Bolt except slow.

When a good real-time 3D artist picks up Godot for the first time.

ok so about 5-6 hours in godot, here i am render wise it's amazing. Physics is so much easier as it's a built in feature, you can also bake lighting on the go as you design your scene, it's fun to play with it time to play with shader #indiedev #indiegamedev

Ha. This is immediately after 4.5 full release and already has changes I desperately want. Guess I'm going back to dev builds for now!

Our first development snapshot for #GodotEngine 4.6 has arrived! As the feature freeze thaws away, so begins a small trickle of QOL and enhancements; a mere sample of the incoming torrent of changes 4.6 is sure to see …200 PRs is small, right? godotengine.org/article/dev-sn…

GDScript Formatter can reorder your GDScript code for you! Signals and variables first, then built-in Godot functions, then public and private custom functions, etc. It follows the official style guide. It's open source, written in Rust, and runs fast. Give it a try:…

We made a new GDScript Formatter for Godot 4, written in Rust: gdquest.com/library/gdscri… It runs fast enough to use on every save on a laptop. Please give it a try, and let us know if you encounter any issue! This project also helps improve Godot support in modern editors like…

Wow. Kripparian is playing a game I helped with, bonkers!

Stash A Card Looter just released! Playing it for the first time NOW! Make sure to check it out on Steam at store.steampowered.com/app/3296910/St… #ad

This is a great discussion on tips and tricks if you ever want to become a YouTuber, or already are one, for game dev, and in general. I stood the entire time just to see this live, and @StayAtHomeDev is a great orator. youtu.be/aJKf-l5wa0I?si…

How important to you would a "colorblind mode" in a mobile app be to you, if in said app you were required to rate things on a scale of "very bad," "bad," and "okay," where each have that as a label as well as an icon to also indicate the value of a rating?

This is so cool. I absolutely love this.

Anyone else think it was a bad decision to make the red box for errors when #Flutter blows up be larger than the entire size of the screen basically? It makes it so I can never pinpoint even exactly what it's trying to say my error is in the code.

Would anyone be interested in a code generation tool that lets you write GDScript code that outputs files for Flutter, SwiftUI, Kotlin/Jetpack Compose, React, or any other MVU-based language? Wondering if it's just my own fever dream/educational project.

I was in the process of posting this when I saw this, so I just repost.

I've seen several Godot developers now annoyed that they have to either silence the warning or clutter their global signal list with warning_ignore. If that's you, use warning_ignore_start and warning_ignore_restore (version 4.4 or higher). #GodotEngine
