The boys were led again by Ryan Jandro, who had a career personal best. Junior Ryan has been the steady leader thus far for the rather young Panther boys team. Without any seniors the boys managed a strong effort finishing 17th of 31 complete teams @NewsHeraldSport @LCPanthers
along with junior Ben Noble and freshman Irving Casaca running varsity - both with career bests as well
sophomore Riley Pickett, junior Ethan Norman, and sophomores Ben Maynard and Jacob Miller rounded out the scoring 5 for LCHS @LCPanthers @NewsHeraldSport - for Ethan it was a career personal best
Sawyer Grace Simmons - again a Medalist - leading the girls with a 16th place overall of 208, including some from upper east TN and Arlington from Memphis

Juniors Sawyer Grace Simmons placed 2nd overall in the girls race and Ryan Jandro finished 7th for the boys. Sophomore Riley Pickett was 11th.
At our opening race of the season at Panther Creek State Park on one of the toughest courses in east TN, we had two top ten finishers..
