Repairs on the broken water main in Silver City are continuing. The boil water order is still in effect for Silver City Nevada. You will be notified when the order is lifted.
At appx 1:15 pm a main water line break occurred on 1st St in Silver City. Storey Co Public Works shut down the water system for repairs. Work should be completed within the next few hours. A precautionary boil order has been issued for Silver City until further notice.

LCSO 9-1-1 lines have been restored to full service. We want to thank Carson City Sheriff’s office Dispatch team for their support and thank you to our citizens for their patience during the outage.
LCSO 9-1-1 & Dispatch admin lines are experiencing an outage. The normal office lines are not affected. Technicians are working to restore service. Calls are being routed to the Carson City Sheriff’s Office. An update will be sent when service is restored.
