So where does one go for support for a school refuser (EBSA) when the school can’t/doesn’t offer outreach, when the county Ed Psych team seemingly ignore your request for info/guidance etc, the GP refers to CAMHS and they tell you to wait 18 months for an initial assessment…?

1 of 2: YP is potential victim of abuse. Result = spiralling behaviour. Going missing, self harm, suicidal ideation. Mash referrals from family, school, police & camhs (after presenting @ A&E for MH assessment when found by police). EBSA unit @ school involved.

This is really wonderful to read. Unfortunately, my GP surgery has all services (including online) suspended. Only urgent care being given. Our local hospital has a critical incident. It's disturbing that your experience isn't nationwide. Any word on why this may be @GOVUK ?

Late to the party - as is usually the case - but this really is a brilliant read so far. I’m usually very sceptical of books recommended to me embroiled in and smothered by the ‘hype’ but I hereby accept that I was very, very wrong to be suspicious l!
Holiday week 1: life admin being ticked off the list, thoughts that matter aren’t being swallowed by the minutiae of 1000mph workdays, I’ve read a book already…but…I’m off the scale anxious at what I surely have forgotten/should/must/ought to be doing…is it just me?
