As part of our @LongwoodSrHS STEAM initiative, students are working during lunch periods on robotics, engineering, and design projects! 5th period #STEAM has been so popular, that the library opened the reference room to accommodate the growing number of students! #LCSDPride

Enjoy this quick video of our HS students working on their STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Mathematics) projects including a roller-coaster, robotic arm edge, bridge, solar car, and an all-terrain rover robot. Great STEAM initiatives! #LCSDPride #STEAM

Longwood HS students showed-off their STEAM projects in the LHS Library. There was a Roller Coaster, Bridge, Robotic Arm, Solar Car and an All-Terrain Rover Robot named "Mr. Krabs" that won 2nd place in the Next Generation Science STEAM Competition. Congratulations!
