Every time I put a jacket protector on a book, I think my first library assistant, Mrs. Sears (my “assistant” with 20 years experience who taught me all of my practical skills as a librarian). A reminder that when you teach someone something useful, you are always a part of them.
Congrats to all who attended our Summer Learning Celebration and earned free ice cream and other goodies!!! And a big thanks to everyone who helped out!
