I have presided over funeral services for more than a dozen babies miscarried at various stages of pregnancy. Parents do grieve. Some observe the anniversary of their miscarriages, solemnly and sorrowfully, for years.

I've found online and public dialogues are never as transformative for the dialogue partners as these private ones. When your conversation is being watched by the masses, you tend not to really answer the dialogue partner—you take a stance you want the world to see.
