.@BTCare @bt_uk I've been without internet all day. Tried calling but got cut off after 40 min wait. Diagnostics bot says outage in my area but a) service status website says no problems in my area and b) it's been well over four hours. Can I please get some help?!
Only upside to the F1 in Vegas turning out to be a predictable sh*t show is that it'll hopefully force the money men to cut their losses and bin it. Time to stop ditching great race circuits where the fans are and turning F1 into another Indycar series with tacky street races.
F1 fans at Las Vegas today: - Spent thousands to be there - Saw 9 minutes of FP1 - Waited HOURS for next session - Kicked out just before FP2 starts - F1 themselves haven’t apologised - Probably not getting a refund I feel so bad 😞
#MUFC don't need a new manager. They need new owners. They need Glazers out, Ratcliffe buying club fully, a proper structure with sporting director, footballing identity re-established, dead wood out of squad & stronger characters in. Give Ten Hag a chance. Rinse/repeat pointless
Hamas said Israel bombed a hospital and killed 500 people. We now have found out that: 1. Israel didn’t do it, it was a misfire by a terror group. 2. The hospital wasn’t bombed, it was a parking lot. 3. There is no evidence that 500 died beyond what Hamas said. And our media…
It's time to face the uncomfortable, grim reality that the UK has a major anti-Semitism problem. Equally disconcerting is how many otherwise good people are turning a blind eye to it and saying nothing.
If any other nation on earth experienced a terror attack resulting in the death of 1,300 people with 100 hostages still in danger, would there even be any debate about a visible display of public support? #StandWithIsrael news.sky.com/story/israel-h…

Peak middle age is when it rains in the summer and your first thought is "this is great for the lawn".
Why are we celebrating the "birthday" of a bureaucracy that administers health services to a generally poor standard? Poor cancer survival rates, GP services virtually inaccessible, sky high waiting times and no choice for patients. Worth celebrating...?!
I have huge respect for the two remaining Conservative mayoral candidates. But we owe it to Londoners to give our members the broadest choice to ensure we select the best candidate. So I am asking the Party to reopen the process to allow a third candidate to go forward.
NEW: DWP Sec @MelJStride tells @AndrewMarr9 he'd back @scullyp's return to the London mayoral race "I think Paul Scully is an excellent minister who understands London really well, if the decision is taken that he is readmitted then that would be an interesting move" #korski
When Archer resigned in 2000 the party reran the process. It was much later in the day but it didn’t stop us running a pretty decent campaign. Surely that has to happen now. Having a choice of two, however good they are, just isn’t reasonable or sensible.
The selection process has once again been exposed as a shambles. It's time to restart the process & delay the members vote until September. London members deserve a proper choice of three candidates.
Stupid decision by London board, who need to be held to account by party members. Astonishing to progress a candidate with no political base or public profile outside of the legal sector ahead of a battle hardened candidate with a ready-to-go campaign. express.co.uk/news/politics/…

Inside the Tory mayoral selection 'clusterf***' that has handed London to Khan
"What an absolute clusterf***!" was how a senior party activist summed up the debacle which was the shortlisting of the Conservative candidate for London mayor.
While top Premier League clubs offload unwanted players and bring in new players, Man Utd remain locked in paralysis having done no business at all. Still unclear who will own the club next year. Emblematic of the Glazers ownership that another transfer window is a shambles #MUFC
The pace of interest hikes will undoubtedly lead to a recession in 12-18 months time. The only questions are 1) how many households will go into negative equity and 2) whether the ensuing house price drop will precipitate a wider financial crisis. The worst is yet to come.
This MUFC takeover has gone on for too long and needs sorting. thenationalnews.com/sport/football…
Good riddance to bad rubbish.
This tells you everything you need to know about Boris Johnson and his cronies. “Two of those at the party were named in Boris Johnson's honours list” news.sky.com/story/partygat…

Partygate: Conservative Party staff filmed drinking and dancing during COVID lockdown
One couple wearing bright party clothes can be seen dancing around the room, knocking into a table at one point, while someone off camera can be heard joking that they're all "bending the rules".
The Privileges Committee report is utterly damning for @BorisJohnson. It finds that he *deliberately* misled the House on an issue of the greatest importance and that he did so *repeatedly*. When the House votes on it, we'll see how many MPs stand up for integrity in public life
