We've been silent for a couple weeks whilst more Labour MPs put their views forward. But now even the moderates must see the clear flaws on show.

Less than 3 weeks before it's due to be debated, Kim Leadbeater MP has finally published the text of her assisted suicide bill. It's 38 pages long, has 43 clauses and 6 schedules. MPs will have a maximum of five hours to debate it. bills.parliament.uk/bills/3774/pub…

‘If you’re undecided, you should vote for it’ soon becomes ridiculous if you apply the same principle to the actual life-and-death matter at hand.

Skewed Polls have been a common feature of the debate

The question contains the phrase "with robust safeguards" which evidence from where it is legal indicates do not last. In every jurisdiction where it has been in place for some years, the criteria for #assistedsuicide and #euthanasia has widened.

Their is no such thing as a "crackpot sort of way" when protesting Assisted Suicide.

Genuinely tempted to protest about this, in a non crackpot sort of way.

If the UK gov intends to quantify then let us beat them at their own game

Fast-tracking #assisteddying #assistedsuicide would be a horrendous mistake when the gov is desperately searching for ways to save the NHS. Consider Canada. A 2020 report by the Office of the Parliamentary Budget Officer estimated that the net cost savings of 6645 Track 1 MAiD…

Penny Pinching State Organ Harvest Complex

Let's discuss Assisted Dying Someone has a verified terminal illness. They are going to die in agonising pain and cost the NHS £100k. With their blessing, their organs can be used to save others with forethought rather than reaction. What's the conservative argument against?
