Cheers for Dr. Christine Schmidt's election to the National Academy of Engineering (@theNAEng), one of the most esteemed honors in the field! The achievement highlights Dr. Schmidt's dedication to innovation & profound impact on biomaterials & tissue engineering. 🎉@CESchmidt_UF
What a great feeling it was to be part of this!
Thank you so much for coming and for growing the community✨Thank you to everyone involved in making this happen and thank you to our sponsors @AIChEMAC @ChEnected See you next year!🤩🥳 #AIChE2024
Finally, we finished the session with Andres Cabeza, Jonathan Salmeron-Hernandez, and @LabresRivera
I will be presenting my work at the annual AIChE conference this upcoming week. Lets connect! Hit me up if you will be attending too.
Congrats to lab member @Kathy_Miranda18 and former lab member @LabresRivera! Very well deserved!
For #HispanicHeritageMonth, we're thrilled to announce the awardees from our #LatinXinChE symposium held on Sep 6. Kudos to all winners & our sponsors for making it happen! If you've won, please check your email. 🎉

Excited and reflective about all I learned last week at the Next Prof Nexus 2023 workshop by @gatechengineers @UMengineering and @Cal_Engineer. It was a pleasure meeting this incredible cohort of peers and it was fun sharing our experiences. Feeling encouraged!
All I know is that I was on that faculty winning team! #StudentReinforcements 😂
And congratulations on the win in Faculty-Student Wiffle Ball @GarciaLabGT! We'll get y'all next time!

It is hard to describe what this means for science and for Puerto Rico. It is much more than just a telescope. It was a landmark for many, a beacon of world class science and education. Hard to compare, but would be like decommissioning the Hoover Dam or the Golden Gate 1/
"Built in the early 1960s, Arecibo’s telescope has been an inspiration and source of pride for the people of Puerto Rico. Many residents have relied on the facility for crucial resources and support during emergencies, such as 2017’s Hurricane Maria." nationalgeographic.com/science/2020/1…
While I do not feel deserving of this, there are so many people in my path to whom this honor belongs to. All students & postdocs (from over 5 continents and a dozen countries) that have contributed to our science, collaborators, reviewers & mentors 🙏🏾 1/ medicine.yale.edu/news-article/2…
