For lent I'm giving up social media. The time I spend essentially doom scrolling could be better spent in prayer and fasting. The enemy wants us to think they're all powerful but God has already won the war. We just have to pick up our cross and follow Him.

Words matter and it is absolutely unacceptable for a member of Congress to be so bigoted as to compare Muslims, or any religious group, to dogs. I refuse to amplify this person’s name, but these types of ignorant, hateful comments have no place in America.
