She couldn’t help but let out a small laugh, extending her small fingers across his much bigger hand now to also look at her nails. “You get used to them. Besides they can be a good weapon too, don’t ya think?”
"Oi! You're gonna leave scars wit' those things." Shifts his form aside as he gathered her hands into his free hand, glaring at the daggers she called nails. "How do you play tourney wit' these things?"
“Like the big scary dragon.” Again, she was teasing. Now playfully jabbing at the male’s sides with her nails and letting out soft giggles of pure amusement.
Maybe he was going soft, maybe he was tired, or maybe it was he was used to her antics, but all Mal did this time around was let out a laugh with a shake of his head. "Uh huh, an' what does little thief wanna do now?"
Shrugging innocently, she stuck her tongue out at him much like a child would to their parent. “You don’t own me. I do what I want.” Jay repeated her previous statement, a low growl escaping her lips.
"I was more focused on the /not/ ownin' you bit, little thief." The smirk turned into a full on grin, amused laughter bubbling up, but not spilling out -- not yet.
“I said—...” She paused, turning her body so she could face him now with a slight glare, arms still crossed as well. “Don’t. Say. Things. Like. That.”
A brow slowly rose at her words, head shifting to look directly at the thief with a crocked grin plastered on his pale features. "Wanna try that one again, /thief/?"
"You don't own me— I do what I want." She spoke, still grumbling and lightly smacking his hand away, her usual sassy side kicking in now. Jay did feel herself melt against his chest at the kiss to her head, though.
"Don' pout, little thief. It'll give you wrinkles." He jested, leaning toward the girl to press a quick kiss to her dark locks and tap a digit against her bottom lip.
Hearing those words caused the smaller girl to suck in a sharp breath, tanned cheeks turning a deep red and turning her head away. "Don't say stuff like that..." She grumbled, moving to cross her arms under her chest now with a pout.
"Gonna wear you out...." The words were muttered just above a whisper, emerald eyes opening wide with a flash of mischief in them. Two could definitely play this game.
"That's my name don't wear it out." She simply responded, her smirk quickly disappearing and a rather innocent look taking over. "How can I help you?" Jay stuck her tongue out at the fey now, crinkling her nose up again in almost a threatening manner.
"Jay." He growled her name, head thudding lightly a few times against the wall behind him. The girl knew how to use words just as well as that tongue.
Tilting her head up again, the thief crinkled her nose at the smile, unable to stop her own small smile from forming—but that soon shifted to her usual smirk. "In more ways than one— But I consider it my job at this point. One I love." She admitted.
A soft grin began to grow along his lips; an action that only the VKs could bring to his features. "You know how to make me feel good, Jay."
Jay reached up to start messing with the fingers of the fey's hand connected to the arm draped over her shoulder. Tugging it gently more around her smaller frame and leaning to rest her head on his chest. "Always do. Just for you, you know."
Teasing little shit... A low growl rumbled in his chest, head leaning back to the wall that they were sitting against with a flutter of his lids. "Knock a few of those prisses on their asses?"
“Mmm, true...But there are a lot of boys in general.../and/ girls.” She teased, gently tapping at her bottom lip with her claw-like nail. The thief’s head turned to look up at Mal once she felt an arm over her. “Practice? It’s great. Couldn’t be better, even.”
"Better be your favorite. Ain't a lot of us runnin' around." With a snort, Mal loosened his arm to drape one over the girl's shoulders, tugging her close to his form. "How practice goin'?"
“Mmm...Sure you will, my favourite fey.” Jay purred out, tilting her head as she locked her brown eyes onto his green ones with a soft giggle. “Whatever you say~.” And again, she tapped his nose.
Teeth snap playfully at the girl's finger, emerald eyes shifting from anger to merriment from the simple action. "Gonna get that finger one day, little thief."
“Says. You.” As she spoke the word, Jay leaned forward to gently tap at the fey’s nose. As per usual, an innocent smile formed on her pouted pink lips.
"Ya know that shit tastes worse than the rot we ate on the Isle." He huffed in an overdramatic fashion, muscular arms folding against his chest.
Squealing excitedly, she took the salad and didn’t bother to change forks before starting to eat it. “Eventually you’ll have to get used to healthy stuff, Mal. It’s important for you, you know.” She pointed the fork at him, with a small glare.
Shoves the sad looking salad toward the thief with a pout. "Can we pretend I ate it?"
Oh j o y. “Yes! Why wouldn’t I be bloomy? It’s a wonderful morning...Plus I just had tourney practice! That always gets me pumped for the day— Ah, yes, of course I do, how could I forget, truly?”
