For anyone blaming "lockdowns" for the disruption of in-school instruction in 2020 and early 2021, shouldn't these scores have recovered by now? We have been "back no normal" for how many years now?

2/2 LOOK at those ACT scores. They’re falling off a cliff.

If Long Covid is driven, even in part, by viral persistence, immune dysregulation, autoimmunity, brain damage, or vascular injury, then the question isn’t who has it - it’s how far along the spectrum everyone is.

Not normal. Many studies said the fallout of repeated COVID infections would take a couple of years to show itself.

Separating the world into "people who have #LongCOVID" and "people who don't have LongCOVID YET" is a sobering but necessary framing for anyone following the work on recurrent SARS-CoV-2 infections. Clean air, testing and prophylaxis medications. All infections have consequences.

You're not going to like the next tweet in this thread, so don't read it.

It’s pretty heartbreaking to read other musicians’ thoughts on “the return to music after the pandemic” (their words), because some of us never returned. Some of us died, some of us were disabled, and some of us had the door slammed shut when we asked for safety & accessibility.

People got so pissed when I called it brain damage, but Covid does damage the brain. I know. I struggled with my cognitive abilities severely for two years after my Omicron infection. My mom with Alzheimer's and I were sharing & comparing symptom similarities. It was terrifying.

You can't call maskers "sheep" when the narrative has been to ignore Cov for the past 4 years. They are the contrary actually. You deniers continue to demonstrate your obsequious servitude to the elites by spreading their bio-agent. Yall have no room to talk.

I just want to do a very quick run through the latest up to date charts of rates of sickness absence in *young* doctors here. Yeah. This is still *really* important, and I'll explain why in a moment.

Speaking as a therapist, there is no such thing as “Covid anxiety.” The mental health field is built on ableism and most therapists don’t understand that viruses can disable or kill someone. You’re not “crazy” for not wanting to get sick. It’s called self preservation.
