Those days that happen about 5 times a year...when insulin just don't work 😭 going to bed on 23.3...three set changes and 8 active units 🙃
Forgot to give myself insulin for dinner and my blood sugar is like exactly the same. Nothing makes sense sometimes😂

This is actually my biggest fear! At uni I hardly sleep and scared to lock my room at night. I'm much better today thank you, long weekend😭
My fave low blood sugars are the ones when you have a sickness bug and you can't keep food or liquids down and you fear for your life 👌🏻😭
It's so annoying how it seems to take 3 minutes to raise a low blood sugar but 3 years to lower a high one 🙄😩
Sometimes my blood sugars just behave for no reason. I like these days.
First Christmas in about 6 years without an insulin pump. It's wayyy harder to avoid spikes with snacks! Can't wait to get my pump back!

plus am friends with so many (party🎉) paramedic students, and every night out they all check on me...I've never felt more safe 😁
at uni, everyone has grown up, no longer kids in the school yard. No one is bothered and are genuinely interested ☺️
You know you're settled into uni when you can inject insulin mid lecture and not care who sees. Feel like I've grown up a bit 😂🤘🏼
