Merlons and Falcons both achieved 100 on their @learnometer today. Great that our children give such careful thought to their environment and learning conditions! #soar #stbartsway
The government plan to invest £25m for #CO2Monitors in schools. As well as monitoring #CO2, the @Learnometer also tracks 6 other parameters including temperature & humidity, all of which have a significant impact on learning. gratnellslearnometer.com #Ventilation #COVID19
What is the ventilation like in your #LearningSpace? The @learnometer measures & monitors 7 factors such as CO2, humidity & temperature. Ventilation allows easier dispersal of aerosol droplets & quickly reduces CO2 levels. gratnellslearnometer.com #ClassroomTech #Ventilation
Urgent call for Covid-safe ventilation in schools - we use @learnometer thanks to @stephenheppell to monitor this. I can strongly recommend them - children @stbartsRWB love them. #soar bbc.co.uk/news/education…
Why every class should have a @learnometer - gratnellslearnometer.com
At Bribie High School this week for @stempunksau, Learnometer was once again pivotal in helping students explore #IOT sensors + air quality before doing their own coding 💨 🌱 Your research was also of great interest to the staff @stephenheppell 😀 #STEM #STEAM #FUTUREREADY
💥FREE webinar!💥 Join @Gratnells Learning Rooms this for ‘Does your classroom help children learn?’ webinar with @DrBiol on Thursday 29th April at 4.30pm. For more information on how to attend, visit learning-rooms.com/zoom-meetings/… #Learnometer #LearningEnvironment #Classroom

With #schoolsreopening in England, a reminder: ventilation is key to CoVID safety & also enhances cognitive function by cutting CO2 levels. 3 classrooms shown 1 with no windows or doors open, 2 with just windows, so no circulation below sills, 1 with windows & doors @learnometer
Monitor & improve your #LearningSpace for optimum outcomes with the Gratnells @learnometer. Explore the different parameters measured by the #Learnometer & how having one in your #classroom can help to create & manage the ideal environment for #learning. gratnellslearnometer.com
And maybe more outdoor learning too? 20 times more dangerous in than out. I don’t understand why EVERY #school hasn’t fitted one of our little @learnometer boxes to mediate the bad #environments (& to check out homes too) gratnellslearnometer.com/?gclid=EAIaIQo…
Such an interesting session on learning environments by @DrBiol and @learnometer at #ASEConf2021. Lots to think about and implement!
What do Learnometers do and why? Join us for a light touch webinar designed for busy teachers and other colleagues who are tight for time on December 4th 2020. 7 short videos have been released ahead of the event and can be viewed here: heppell.net/lom/
The Gratnells Learnometer was recently awarded a @Worlddidac Award 2020. The jury found it “pedagogically valuable and innovative” and was “highly recommended for use in schools”. The @learnometer was also named the Exceptional Product in it's category. worlddidacaward.org/and-the-winner…
Thanks! There’s some specific covid advice here: heppell.net/learnometer-19… Might be useful
@stephenheppell’s sobering, unsurprising thread. The latest development to be ignored - the @learnometer - is designed to improve the indoor physical learning environment. It is simple, practical, it works and it can help to make classrooms safe during the pandemic. Please share.
(6ii) ...final product is now industrially designed in California & manufactured in S. Korea (BREXIT?). World leading but Dept of Ed ignore it, continuing to specify cognitively damaging schools & processes (eg current CoVID Deep Cleaning & accompanying TVOC damage)
Windows: in this data stream from various @Learnometer s you see rapid build up of CO2 in all but one classroom which has open windows & air circulation. In a CoVID world there is only one safe(ish=purple line) classroom here. Partial opening in 2 others only partially effective
Our students are loving using our @Gratnells @learnometer in the engineering suite to help us create the optimum learning conditions for their lessons. Just one of the smart technologies we use @BMATSTEM. Book a tour today for entry to Yr 10 and 12. linktr.ee/bmatstemacademy
