Not only did @Gannett's AI posts sound robotic - but their “authors” may not even be real. They’re not Reviewed editors, don’t have LinkedIn profiles, and Google searches turn up no other written work.
Not only is America’s biggest local news chain, @Gannett, using AI to “write” articles, it’s making fake authors with fake faces and fake biographies. Is this how Gannett envisions the future of local news?
