The 2024/25 Ontario Budget planned a deficit of $9.8 billion. The deficit came in at $1.1 billion -- or 11% of the forecast. This occurred despite the province spending $11.5 billion more on programs than planned in that Budget. Don't take PC deficit projections seriously.
