There are too many ways to make an income online... but the most important one is to focus on one method, and not jump from one to the next
One of the most "stable" forms of income is having a site... or 10. Make sure you're directing and using the traffic you get wisely!
Keyword research is the CORE. Use keyword external tool, and all the other wonderful tools for keywords, there are literally 1000s of them!

Make sure your keyword is in your meta tags, H1, h2, h3, Title, description, subtitles. Anchor text, and bolded, italiziced, and underlined!
There are many factors to SEO, both on-page and off-page, make sure you know what they all are before trying SEO ;)
