We have a new First Edition Bookshelf!! The First Edition Friends is a fundraising program for the Lewiston City Library Foundation. Patrons can sponsor a colorful painted book to go on our handmade bookshelves located around the library. We look forward to filling it with books!

Today is National Voter Registration Day!! Stop by the Library today to register to vote or to pick up information about the ballot and candidates. Resources are provided in partnership with the League of Women Voters of the Lewis Clark Valley.
Our booth won 1st Prize at the Nez Perce County Fair!!! Huge thank you to Julie Seely, Lapwai Branch Manager, and Doreen Schmidt, Peck Branch Manger, from the Prairie River Library District for helping us set everything up. You guys did an amazing job!
In partnership with the League of Women Voters, the library is offering information and resources to prepare for the upcoming elections. Stop by for an example ballot, a directory of elected officials, information on how and where to register or re-register to vote, and more.

Thanks to the @NPT1855 for supporting education and literacy in our community!! Their grant award of $5000 is helping us to purchase books that will be checked out at outreach events like "Storytime at the Parks" this Fall and will fill our new bookmobile in the next year.
