Teachers are struggling on what to do right now, districts are sending multiple emails every day that change the plan and expectation for teachers. These amazing people are working through the same frustrations as everyone else in the world while worrying and 2/3
Enough with the pictures of teachers going over to kids' houses and teaching through screen doors or in driveways. Teachers are not superhuman; teachers are people, and sharing those kinds of images makes people think that should be normal. It's not. 1/3

I just told our six-year old about interlibrary loan. Daughter: They’ll get you ANY book? Even if it’s ten miles away? Dad: Even if it’s a thousand miles away! Daughter: Librarians must be magic. Dad: They have to be. They work with books.

It's Friday the 13th and a full moon, but my kids were great today. So, the chances I'll be hit by a bus are pretty high since my luck has obviously run out.
Or cut library staff. Or limit what librarians can do for staff and students by putting them on a fixed schedule.
