A decade ago, I popped "A Cook's Tour" into a knapsack and Anthony Bourdain (who I'd never heard of) became my raucous companion on planes, trains and buses across southern France. Not only a brilliant chef, he was a talented writer with a deeply human voice. Rest peacefully.

This is for those of you who think working in a library is boring. : ) (And if you want to hear the interview, it's at bit.ly/2GWx6uj.)

My library hosted these little beans while their classroom was getting its super-secret makeover. (The hot chocolate & teddy bear kindnesses happened in our building.) So much fun to see the final results! #MakingSpiritsBright

We asked first graders how they would spread kindness this holiday season. You won’t believe what they said! Thankfully, we had some help to make it happen. How will you be #FuellingKindness over the holidays? go.shell.com/2yrf8vy

So much fun teaching tonight's Artisan Soda class! If all goes well, my students should have fully carbonated ginger beer by Sun AM.

Hey @Randwulven, I saw your story in this morning's Metro. That is completely awesome -- congratulations!

Hey @milomclaughlin! I thought about you today -- I'm back in Portland for WDS2017. Hope you're doing wonderfully well.

Hey, @Marty_Chan! My personal favourite Edmonton book is The Uptown Browns by Mark Kozub. #LocalLit

Congratulations, @leelb! I saw an article on Edmonton Cooks in this morning's @metroedmonton. (And the Sugar Bowl cinnamon buns! Whee!)

Thank you so much for the shout out @seenandheardyeg! (And I want to try @beyondumami's Earl Grey Macarons!)

Although I'd love to be known as a Fox, I'm actually in the frugality category. Thank you, @seenandheardyeg!
