I don’t quite yet have $100 million for an ad buy this month but I could make up for it if you retweet this. Thanks everyone. And if you like it you can also help us out at amyklobuchar.com

Why do prescription drugs cost more in the US than in Canada? Why can’t Medicare negotiate for lower prices? Why do drug companies make billions getting people hooked on opioids? Because the big pharmaceutical companies think they own Washington. Well, they don’t own me.

To show my thanks for educators and librarians, and to help improve kids’ book access, here’s a #KidsNeedBooks giveaway. EDUCATORS & LIBRARIANS: RT/follow to enter to win these books. I hope the winner gives some of these to Ss to keep, while adding the rest to their library.

Why only "half credit" back? What grading research says to do that?? We just make this stuff up. There is no average time to learn something so why do we punish kids who take longer to learn it?

I was at a school recently and a kid asked me “Were you popular?” I thought about the question and answered, “You mean was I interesting? Yes!” Who cares about popularity? And all these kids’ eyes lit up!

Yes! Trying to convince local school to reopen/fund new books and research platform for students.

Unpopular opinion of the day: It doesn't matter how many times "literacy" appears on your district or campus plan; if you don't plan funding for librarians, libraries, and classroom reading materials, you don't value literacy much.
