Such a lovely morning volunteering @RHSWisley . Every week I take pictures of what is in flower in the Hilltop gardens but this morning I took this one before it flew away and I had to share it with you! What is it thinking????
Well my tiny garden got a proper soaking yesterday but the forecast predicts a couple of lovely weeks to come. Today I am off to Hilltop and looking forward to seeing my colleagues and the visitors. #SundayYellow
Luckily I took the pictures for #sixonSaturday yesterday. It looks like an indoors day for me, sheltering from the rain. My six includes Dahlia, Phlox, Sedum, white Flower Carpet rose, a couple of delicious tomatoes eaten straight after the photo and Calendula.
Something different for #FlowersOnFriday, the beautiful, aging flower of a Speckled Swan Gourd. If only I could age as prettily! If you want me, I will be in my tiny garden!
It’s #clematisThursday! I nearly forgot. I have been working hard to fill my green bin because Monday is collection day and I always feel it’s a waste of money if it isn’t full. The clematis is in one of my neighbour’s gardens.
As well as the amazing design and wonderful plants in @springy_steve garden, I spotted this spider, going about its business and ignoring the crowds of happy visitors. #insectThursday

This gorgeous rose was blooming in one of my neighbour’s gardens that I visited last Sunday. #RoseWednesday. Today I am going on an exciting garden visit with my Bestie. More of that later!
Echinops for #Tuesdayblue. I was out with a friend yesterday and came back to new neighbours! I am so happy because the house next door has been empty for months.
Our neighbour garden event yesterday was a great success. We visited 10 gardens in my road and ended up having a tea party in the last garden. The gardens were all very different but it was clear how much we all enjoyed our outside space. #magentaMonday
Sunday again and happily I am off to Hilltop to volunteer after missing last week. Later, we have our neighbour garden visits and then a tea party in one of my neighbour’s gardens. I hope you have a lovely day. For #SundayYellow, one of my Dahlias plus a friend.
Thank you @springy_steve for publicising your open garden here or I would never have known about it and I would have missed something extraordinary! I pride myself on my plant knowledge but met plants I have never seen. Oh and I bought 3 begonias.
