Come on Christmas shoppers - brave the rain and come and find our festive bargains!

Tam Dalyell is signing more copies of his book, at Little Owls, this Sat, 3rd, from 12 to 1 pm. Being Awkward works after all!

1 week to go tickets still left for Tam Dalyell, James Robertson, Janice Galloway at Linlithgow Book Festival from Linlithgow Bookshop

Linlithgow Book Festival has more tickets for Tam Dalyell's event - it's moved to a larger venue, Linlithgow Academy, same day, same time.

Read about Cameron's holiday reading in The Irish Independent - will he ever finish Skippy Dies?

The lovely chickens are growing already, and so clever - putting them selves to bed at night. Florence is Speckledy, Tilly is Light Sussex.

Little runaway hen claimed today leaving 2 eggs for us bless her.

Thank You, disinfectant spray at the ready!

Became more athletic than I had for years, and caught her - she didn't seem to mind - perhaps she was tired anyway - I was!

Bottle of proseco later, enjoying urban/rural idyll, hen spots no ceiling. You're right, off she went. She's now in bed, but how.....

Neighbour appears with 'stray' hen , being mobbed by cats - fort not yet roofed, but yes, we'll take her.

Phew the hen fort is almost complete - the door 's being fitted today. Next job, fill it with hens.

@torbaybookshop Ditto, will visit you too one day when I stop being transfixed by the News, where is Cameron, the Invisible Man?

@torbaybookshop thanks for following us, look forward to visiting you some time!
