Anne Rice: "I feel that the female characters I create are not treated fairly by reviewers." It's easier for her to write abt males.
"Where did you come up with the name Lestat?" Anne Rice: It was a mistake. I thought it was an old Creole name, but it was really Lestan."
Q: Which character would you want to meet in real life? Anne Rice: "Lestat."
