So that was a long thread and a little out of order. But there's our vacation so far.
Thursday: driving through the Mojave desert to see Hover Dam and stay in Vegas. We plan on freaking out our family by threatening to elope😂
Wednesday: explored LA, Venice Beach, Santa Monica pier. Saw the Chinese theater and walked the walk of fame. Stomped on 45's star.
Drove up to the hill north of Golden Gate Bridge to take pictures and S proposed! 💍
Monday: San Fran. Visited Fisherman's wharf, lunch in Chinatown, explored Haight/Ashbury, smoked in golden gate park.
Sunday: explored San Jose, saw the Winchester Mansion and night 2 of Dead & Co.
Saturday: drove down to San Fran and saw night 1 of Dead & Co. With VIP parking miracle ✌🏼
Camped in Eureka CA on the beach. Saw some interesting folks at their art walk. Ate dinner on the beach and watched the sunset.
Friday: woke up early and left Seattle. Drove through Eugene to see OR campus and cut over to the west coast
I get why intersectionality is important. But isn't it better to take small accepted steps towards equality than a giant misguided lap?
