Huge congratulations to lab member Devin Tankersley who was one of four students to receive a Fulbright research award! Tankersley will be doing research in Taiwan, where he earlier received a master's degree and began learning Taiwan Sign Language (TSL).

Alec Goldberg and Cormac League presented: “Dinék'ehiígo Ałchíni bich'į' Ya'áti'” on their research and findings with the Indigenous Child Language Research Center (ICLRC). They have been working with a language nest that is studying child directed speech with Navajo children.

Meet Ryan D Smith! He is a research assistant with the Indigenous Child Language Research Center (ICLRC). He studies gesture development in Navajo children and helps with administrative tasks. In his free time, Ryan enjoys drafting and woodworking, and restoring his classic car.
