This week it was stoneham firefighters local 2116’s honor to host the Sgt Chesna thin blue line flag. The flag has been traveling around the state to different fire departments in support and remembrance of the sacrifices that police officers make everyday.

Tonight firefighters w/ Stoneham & State police, action ambulance & DCR rangers were dispatched across from the zoo for a pair of 5 year old missing. They were quickly found due to 1 of the 5 year olds knew his mothers phone number by heart and a passer by contacted his mother.

Stoneham firefighters from group 2 and stoneham police were able to make it a very special Mother’s Day to one mom in stoneham.. firefighters were able to save 5 ducklings out of a storm drain. Ducklings and momma duck were happily reunited to enjoy the rest of the day
