Four meat packers control 85% of the meat processed in the U.S. One packer, JBS, is owned by Brazil and was busted for antitrust, but they were the largest donor to the Presidential Inauguration. Is that legal? Is this why we still don’t have Country of Origin Labels on Beef?
We took a 6mo lamb to the processor today. Live weight was 77lbs. I'm stoked that we had this kind of animal performance on grass over six months.

🥩 🇺🇸 How is it that Congress is in recess, the lights are turned out, and the doors are locked, yet I can post a five minute speech on why we need Country of Origin Labels for beef? Because I gave this speech 10 years ago!

I agree with Joel Salatin on EATS Act. Regulating animal welfare is not an enumerated power of the federal government. EATS Act would cancel state laws meant to protect animals. Whether I agree with those laws or not, it’s not my place to nullify them. thelunaticfarmer.com/blog/10/9/2025…
