The video of @jamesbender's Tailwind CSS talk from last night is on our YouTube channel: youtube.com/watch?v=4Kv1bL… Sorry about the occasional audio dropouts... turns out state of the art recording tech only works properly when @dylanbeattie remembers to push the right buttons. 🤣

James Bender: Creating a Design Language with Tailwind CSS

We had some interference/dropouts on the wireless mics at @LondonDotNet last night. Which, in theory, is no problem, because the @AnkerWork M650 mic system I use has an onboard backup recording... which only works if I remember to push record on the wifi receiver. Guess what? 😖

Our next meetup will be Wednesday 13 March at @thetrainline in Holborn, with @jamesbender talking about Tailwind CSS, and Maria-Assumpta Ukaefu talking about building fake websites to study online fraud. Doors 6:30pm. Details and sign-up: meetup.com/london-net-use… See you there!

Thanks to everybody who came along to our meetup last week, and especially to @markrendle for stepping in at the last minute with a great talk on the history of programming. If you couldn't make it, the videos are up on your YouTube channel now: youtube.com/@LondonDotNet

Hey folks - Alex Sheppard-Godwin has had to reschedule, so instead we've roped in @markrendle to tell us the story of "How JavaScript Happened", an insightful and extremely funny look at the history of programming language design. Same time, same place, hope to see you all there!

Next Thursday 15th February, we're @FundApps in Shoreditch. Alex Sheppard-Godwin will be talking about "blurred code" - the challenges of writing code with poor sight - and we're hosting a park bench on the state of .NET in 2024. Sign up: meetup.com/london-net-use… See you there!

Next up tonight it’s @nickchapsas talking about logging in .NET and why you’re doing it wrong… and is that @MartinDotNet I see making an unexpected cameo on one of Nick’s slides?
