I tried to tell Republicans not to vote for Davis for mayor, Dude is like his buddy Lenny Curry. They don’t deliver either. But Deegan is also the mayor and she’s not delivering and doing so much wasteful spending. This city is screwed until a new mayor is in charge.

So very sorry to learn of the death of former @Royal_Greenwich Councillor, Mavis Best. I first met her in the 70s when she led the campaign against the discriminatory “Sus” laws, and later worked with her in tackling racism in the NHS and on mental health campaigns in Greenwich.
