gonna mute this one. respect the touring industry please. it is unregulated, there are virtually no unions, & is psychologically hard work in ways that are hard to describe if you want shows to continue, then maybe just try to be empathetic to the workers that make them happen
because it’s unethical to ask workers to do this - you arrive at ~10am for an 8pm show time. yes you need all that time, often more - soundcheck takes hours even if nothing goes wrong - 2pm start means 12pm doors - no one is off work but setup starts at what? 3am? no thanks !
