This is absolutely not true! I have seen appeals from Baptist groups, Adventist groups, Webster United was a drop off point for relief efforts. Ppl are doing things without posting on SM

Since hurricane Melissa, I have seen entertainers and dancehall artists stepping up and offering assistance to the needy, but I have yet to see one church group or organization, many of whom often condemn these entertainers, coming forward to render assistance.

We've had many hurricanes in Jamaica. Never before has anyone expected or demanded a whole house from the government. Assistance from an MP, maybe. But never a demand on the PM for a house. When did we become so bright and damn out of order?
