Happy Pi Day! March 14th = 3.14 Pi is the ratio between a circle’s diameter and its circumference. It is a really important part of the maths we learn in school!
This week we’ve been celebrating international women’s day, so it’s the perfect time to congratulate Jess and Kate on obtaining conditional offers to study Mathematics at the University of Cambridge. We are incredibly proud of you both 👏 @LearnWithMCS
Congratulations to our wonderful year 12 Further Maths student Sam on his success in the Desmos Christmas Competition. Sam made a festive design from equations using graphical software and won in his age group 👏 @Desmos @LearnWithMCS
We’re celebrating World Maths Day and Pi Day at MCS today. KS 3 and 4 students can find activities to get involved with on their Maths GC today. A maths inspired art competition for KS3 and a UK-wide Pi experiment for all. Enjoy the day! @LearnWithMCS @Ks4Mcs @Ks3Mcs @MCS_Art

After a long day in Paris we are now about to relax and enjoy our evening rodeo at buffalo bills wild Wild West show.
Approximately 50% of our group walked the 704 steps to the first floor and 100% of the group walked back down. How many steps have we just climbed? There are 57 of us. @LearnWithMCS
All checked into our hotel. Lots of very tired but happy pupils. Time to rest and recharge ready for another busy day. What adventures will tomorrow bring?
