As I read debates on a Twitter, I always have to remind myself, “There is nothing that can be sliced so thin that it doesn’t have two sides.”

The Kingdom of God is less often either/or, and more often both/and or neither/nor.

There are probably a number of Christians out there who hold incorrect views yet still obey Jesus more than those with correct views. May I be found with the former.

Ugh. I forgot how bad Twitter gets as elections get closer.

If you believe that those who have not heard the gospel are going to hell, when do you believe that started? If right after Jesus died or was raised, did everyone who died in the seconds following that go to hell? Was there a buffer window?

My intuition kicks in and I realize the situation. I rip off the woman’s mask to reveal my arch nemesis, Gaston, his face in a sneer. The pitri dish actually holds a deadly virus he is planning to release at the UN assembly. I watch as they both fall into the abyss below. I win.

Atheists seem to be more civil than theists on this app.

You what’s the worst? When someone’s iPhone ringtone is the same sound as your iPhone wake-up alarm. These two groups of sounds need to be mutually exclusive, @Apple

As I was throwing away a broken children’s utensil that we kept for too long, I had a thought. If you wouldn’t take something you own if it was offered to you for free, you probably should get rid of it. Good rule for decluttering that I should probably stick to.

The words “walkie talkie” and “weed whacker” definitely have the same vibe.

Many atheists speak of the religious as those out of touch with “reality”. Yet the main and most significant parts of everyones everyday lives - like relationships, values, and morals - don’t seem to be found anywhere in a naturalistic “reality”.

For some reason, some of my most-liked posts are about how fluoride is safe as long as you’re not swallowing it. Maybe I should rebrand…

Amazing.

How late am I to the Bluey train?

Most of us should be speaking less, not more. I don’t think Twitter is helping with that.

No one is an NPC, even if it feels like you are sometimes.

The fact that prayer makes no statistically significant difference on the outcome of illnesses says more about the (in)effectiveness of most peoples prayers (myself included) than the actual existence of miraculous healing.

How unattractive the Christian faith must look to those who are not Christians. How Christians respond on social media, in politics, in the culture wars… If I wasn’t already convinced that Christ is Lord, I would feel very repelled by all this. And I’m as guilty as anyone.

“…Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect,” 1 Peter 3:15 NIV Christians, it matters the WAY you give your response.

So everyone is clear, if you ever criticize anything, you are now afraid of that thing.

I think listening to one of your kids make your other kid laugh is one of the best sounds in the world.
