The events unfolding in DC are horrifying. Peaceful BLM protestors were attacked by MPD, today’s protesters storm the Capitol with no police retaliation. MPD is protecting white supremacists while Black and Brown people lose their lives to police violence; they must be defunded.
A man was murdered last night. Our laws tell us that unlike extrajuducial killings, capital punishment is somehow excusable and moral. We know that it's the same act of injustice. #endthedeathpenalty #BrandonBernardsLifeMatters
