GOP Senators say there’s nothing we can do about the ethics crisis at the Court. But they’re wrong. Congress can — and must — step in if the Supreme Court won’t police itself. The justices have been playing out of bounds for a long time. news.yahoo.com/senate-gop-say…

Democrats have voted to lower drug prices and committed to protecting Social Security and Medicare. Not a single Republican voted for the bills that would lower costs for American families.

Did you think I’d show up to the hearing on Supreme Court ethics without receipts?

House Republicans have made it clear they’re fighting to give tax breaks to the wealthiest Americans. Even at the expense of lifesaving care and services Americans count on.

BREAKING: Harlan Crow and his family's average yearly political contributions went up 862% after Citizens United was decided in 2010. Who provided a deciding vote for that case? Justice Clarence Thomas, a "family friend" they showered with luxury travel and gifts for 20+ years.

Justice Alito “opened up” to friends at the WSJ editorial page last week to complain that “practically nobody is defending” SCOTUS justices accused of unethical conduct. Ask and you shall receive:

The moving of dark money from this person to that person is facilitated thru fronts, fake orgs often 501 c3/c4 tax status used to hide the sources of the dark money. Over the years at Watchdog Progressive, I have outlined this corruption stating that the tax laws must change.

The “fictitious name” organization Judicial Crisis Network raised anonymous money in checks as big as $17 million to fund political ads for Gorsuch, Kavanaugh and Barrett.

The 'swamp' which Trump mentioned so often is actually Dark Money from very wealthy right-wing interests who are influencing the court selections and thus, influencing case law -- such as Roe v Wade. It is basically quid pro quo corruption.

It has been general knowledge that the Federalist Society has acted with undue interest upon the Roberts Court. Now we see how it works with the expose from @propublica

Yes, that same Federalist Society where Leo worked and that handpicked all of Trump’s judges.

This part is really bad: "These trips appeared nowhere on Thomas’ financial disclosures. His failure to report the flights appears to violate a law passed after Watergate that requires justices...to disclose most gifts, two ethics law experts said"

This is why public trust in the Supreme Court is cratering: Clarence Thomas Secretly Accepted Luxury Trips From GOP Donor — ProPublica propublica.org/article/claren…

The fact that Clarence Thomas takes free, secret trips from a right-wing billionaire and didn't recuse himself in a case involving his traitorous wife isn't Thomas' fault alone. Chief Justice John Roberts has enabled this trashing of ethics. The court has delegitimized itself.

9/ If Leo's name sounds familiar, it's because the longtime Federalist Society executive is regarded as an architect of the Supreme Court’s recent turn to the right and recently received $1.6 billion for a new conservative political group: propublica.org/article/dark-m…

7/ The justice has gone with Crow to the Bohemian Grove, the exclusive California all-male retreat, and to Crow’s sprawling Texas ranch. Every summer, Thomas typically spends about a week at Camp Topridge, Crow’s private resort in the Adirondacks.
