Zen Zone mark 2. Shifted inside as the shed was not being used. We found we didn't need the zen zone outside as when we are outside, we are all pretty happy. So, making use of a poorly used dumping cupboard seemed the sensible route. ❤️
I'm wearing @loopearplugs today for the 1st time. I'm leaving work, not feeling drained, and not feeling exhausted. My day has been no different from normal. But my head is clear, and the sensory overload from noise just hasn't happened today!!!
Hard work to get our indoor ODL den sorted. It's starting to look like a proper wee space. Need to hoover the rugs as too many wellies have trampled them in their last location. #NewZenZone
We are painting today. Having a shuffle and our wasted space cupboard is becoming our outdoor learning, indoor den!
A wee reward extension period today. After working so safely with Bunsen burners today we investigated flame colours! "BEST LESSON OF MY LIFE" was the feedback fron kids 🤩
Next week, we will take part in a Healthy Living Fayre. This week, we are preparing our mock-up stall. On the night, our soup made from our garden harvest will be available to taste, and we plan to give away the rest of our produce to share the bounty 😃 @RHSSchools

Today we found lots of purple beetles rumming around our space. They were just beuatiful 🤩😍
Last work related post before I switch off for long weekend. Safe spaces come in many shapes and forms. Allowing this pupil to hand sew makes them happy and calm. Every lunch, they make something new. Today, it was a Mean Girls lunch box. Everyday I look forward to this ❤️
My S1 class demonstrated great teamwork and stepped well outside their comfort zone today and made tattie soup with our garden produce. This simple pot of soup represents so much #Progress #IndividuallyPaced #Team #Suport Never underestimate, what seems simple to adults
Filled with pride 🌈 cups. Cup design 1 to pass to full productions. We have decided on the yarn to use. We have 12 rolls of various colours. We have a production team. Small happy/ "Angy" cups, small, medium and large "baskets". Roll on the Christmas Fayre season
Progress check. Lots of strimming done and stones laid for paths. It starting to feel like we are winning!!! 👊

Puddle splashing. Might not seem like a big deal, but this was a huge deal today. "Miss, that was so much fun, I've finally overcome my fear of puddles". Progress can be demonstrated in many ways. Remember that, every day. We do make a difference. ❤️ #OutdoorLearning
Another busy day with lunchtime craft club. An S1 pupil used a pattern and sewing machine for the 1st time to start their reversible tote bag project. To keep all their other projects in ❤️❤️❤️ and I made progress on our Barista merch. These two are promotional cups to advertise!
