As many of you probably predicted, my next series is my take on the NFL, the first I've done since 2020. I'll be posting one team each Thursday and Sunday throughout the season, but to lead up to that, I'll post my edits to this year's newly-released Rivalries uniforms. Enjoy!
Denver Broncos: Of course, I went back to the royal blue, and went with a throwback-style design inspired by the Broncos' uniforms in the '60s. I brought back the number font from the Elway uniforms, too. #BroncosCountry
Dallas Cowboys: The different shades of blue have honestly grown on me. I did unite to one shade of silver, went with the throwback font across the board, and similar striping on the primary white & navy jerseys. The navy throwback would be worn on Thanksgiving. #DallasCowboys
Cleveland Browns: To be honest, I preferred the brown facemask, but otherwise, I'd say Cleveland's (primary) uniforms are pretty much perfect now. #DawgPound
Cincinnati Bengals: I figured I'd wait a day since they're playing tonight. There's not much to change with the Bengals, anyway. I'd only have them wear the orange pants once per year, only with the orange jersey, ideally for the home opener. #RuleTheJungle
Chicago Bears: Not much to change for such a classic team, although I did adjust the pants stripes to better match the jerseys. The orange alternate is now a throwback to the 1930's. #DaBears
Buffalo Bills: While I actually quite like the Bills' current uniforms, I tried simplifying things a bit, dropping navy as an accent and going with the throwback striping style. The number font is based on their wordmarks. #BillsMafia
Baltimore Ravens: I originally had a redesign planned for the Ravens, but their set has grown on me. I just removed gold because I've never liked its inclusion. The helmet is intended to be black with purple flakes, sort of like the Jags' early 2010's helmet. #RavensFlock
Atlanta Falcons: This might be a hot take, but the Falcons' uniforms have actually grown on me (even the now defunct gradient uniform)... I just adjusted the number font slightly and went with the full names instead of "ATL" on the primary uniforms. #RiseUp
Arizona Cardinals: I generally like Arizona's current uniforms, I just made them a little closer to past designs, and dropped silver. The facemask is a warm gray, much like USC, mimicking the shade of a desert cardinal. #BirdGang
Seattle Seahawks Rivalries: I think Seattle's Rivarlies Set is pretty decent, so no major changes here. #Seahawks
San Francisco 49ers Rivalries: Probably my 2nd-favorite of the Rivalries uniforms, so I didn't change much, other than removing white from the helmet logo to better match the jersey. #FTTB
New York Jets Rivalries: Like the Patriots, I'm not in love with the design, but didn't really know what to change. I did make the helmet the matching green and went with the Gothic "NY" to match the theme. #JetUp
New England Patriots Rivalries: I don't particularly love the Pats' Rivarlies uniform, but there's not much I'd change about it, either, beyond getting rid of the unnecessary pattern inside the numbers. #NEPats
Miami Dolphins Rivalries: I like Miami's design, but a more regular navy blue would look better and make more sense than their dark blue that's basically black. I also wanted to try a watery, aqua facemask. The updated logos & font are a hint of what's to come. #PhinsUp
Los Angeles Rams Rivalries: To be honest, the Rams' Rivarlies uniform doesn't really do much for me, so I decided to replace it with the navy & white alternate I had planned for them anyway. This is the only uniform in their set that will use the "bone" color. #RamsHouse
Buffalo Bills Rivarlies: I like my Vikings' "Winter Whiteout" more, but this icy look isn't bad, either. The number font is slightly updated, which may be a hint of things to come... #BillsMafia
Arizona Cardinals Rivalries: This is my favorite of the Rivalries uniforms, by far. Very minimal changes, but I did want to try a copper facemask. #BirdGang
