As far as I can tell, nothing has been more beneficial in my walk with the Lord than intentionally memorizing and meditating on Scripture. The older I get, the more I see its importance.

People say they’re bad at memorizing things. Almost impossible. We memorize what we set our mind to. The route to the store. Lyrics to old songs. Lines from movies. If you don’t have large chunks of Scripture memorized, it’s likely that you just haven’t set your mind to it.
