Every morning, @OPS_Morton Principal Matt Williams is at the door greeting students. "Being out with them, it's the best part of the job." With nearly 30 years in our district, he didn't plan to become a principal, but each opportunity led him to a role he now loves.

8th grader Ss were working in stations with some #Makerspace activities. Ss had 7 minutes to complete the task listed on the task card. After a couple rotations, we checked out books & read silently. No tech required... just brain power & creativity! #MakersGonnaMake
BEST EVER morning: teaching Ss about cassettes! Ss brought in a cassette found in the dumpster, to my office we go. They were amazed that it could be flipped & different songs played on the opposite side. Demo about how to roll the tape when it comes out included. Day made! 📼
