What a way to spend my 50th. It’s been a real gift. Thanks to the Pope for coming to help us celebrate 😂😜👍🏾🚶🏿♀️@Pontifex
A very happy pilgrim group in Juba today. 🎉🎉🚶🏿🙏🏿@LoretoRumbek, @Pontifex
Please pray for the people of #SouthSudan as @Pontifex, @churchmoderator and I prepare to make our historic Pilgrimage of Peace on Friday. We come as brothers in Christ to amplify the cries of the South Sudanese people and to pray for justice and peace. archbishopofcanterbury.org/news/news-and-…

“Greater love has no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends”. Jn15:13 Feast of #StMaximilianKolbe
We had a slow start with poor rains, delighted now our crops r doing well. Looking forward to harvesting next month 🙏🏿🇸🇸
Honey production is undergoing a major revival as communities help save the threatened honey bee. Among the beekeepers is the country's youngest - Rian Somers - who is busily harvesting this year's crop at home in Rathcormac, Co Cork | bit.ly/31wQtWQ

Why Perseid Meteors Are Called the 'Tears of Saint Lawrence'
The celestial phenomenon was identified long before astronomers took note by devout Christians, who had their own fiery interpretation.
I know there is a very solemn and impressive school of intellectuals who appear to have no intellects. They merely like floating about in an atmosphere of intellectualism. They worship the intellect like an idol; and all the more because it is to them an unknown god.
This disturbing and disgusting ideology is the logical conclusion of the pro-choice position. Protect our brothers and sisters with disabilities. Fight for the right to life #WeStandforLife
We get by with a little help from our friends .....
A truly wonderful story of courage and compassion during the darkest time in our history. Really well done to the BBC for sharing.
Today is the Feast of St James the Apostle, who walked with Christ from the start of his mission and gave his life for his faith. He is the patron saint of pilgrims. We pray for all pilgrims and we think of how we are called to walk a journey of faith. Buen Camino! #mscvocations
(1/7) As a human being who believes in the sanctity of human life, I am deeply troubled by what is happening to the Uighur Muslim population in China.
Laity: Stop complaining and start BEING the Church you wish you had.
Today is the feast day of of one of my favourite saints, Camillus de Lellis gambler and soldier of fortune, who discovered God’s call for his life in caring for the sick and the poor. He is the patron of nurses, doctors, and those addicted to gambling. A real saint for our time
