We’ve been asked quite a few questions about our distributed manufacturing strategy (multiple small plants rather than one mega factory). The maximum throughput through one set of carbon fibre tooling dictates the optimum size of the plant and for us that is 5,000 units a year.

Yes that's Computing teachers, not IT teachers. Completely different subject, so often confused and used interchangeably by people who should know better.
