FCPs are/should be level 7 (masters level) in the clinical pillar. AP is Level 7 across all 4 pillars of practice. That being said, no clinician should be practicing outside of their scope. That is the responsibility & accountability we have as autonomous clinicians.

This is a very real conversation happening now, especially as the band 7 roles historically went to management jobs. More recentlAP ESP/FCP come with financial acknowledgment, but still doesn’t recognise that rehab can fulfil advanced practice and is a specialty in its own right
