Today I recorded my 100th dive while here in Jamaica. We had rain this morning and it rained while we were underwater. The water was murky today but it turned out to be a good dive with lots of things to see. Dove to a depth of 62'.

Another day at the office (not). Off the coast of Jamaica.

Harpa Concert Hall. A magnificent concert hall in Reykjavík that opened in 2011. Designed by Henning Larsen Architects, the building features a distinctive colored glass 3-D facade inspired by the basalt landscape of Iceland. The craftsmanship of the concrete is remarkable.

What a great way to spend a Friday night. Watched the northern lights for about 2 hours before I had to go back to the RV to warm up. Here’s one of my photos.

Visited the Berlinische Galerie this morning where a celebration of the Bauhaus movement’s 100th birthday was on display. Great exhibit with well over 100 original drawings and products from the school. Here’s one of the best quotes from the exhibit. Happy Birthday Bauhaus!

The Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe in Berlin, Germany. Designed by Peter Eisenman there are 2,711 sarcophagi-like concrete slabs of equal size but if varying heights rising in silence from undulating ground. A memorial to a horrible time in man’s history.
