Art handlers generally are some of the most interesting people around at an art fair. Astounding breadth of interests, extensively traveled, know all the records, books, artists, and are coming around (somewhat) on diversity.
The art dealer’s relationship to the art they sell is specific to its commodity status. You will not have a good chat over dinner. It’s pork futures. Another fact.
